BGaming's European Roulette Will Have You Winning In Style!

A nice roulette table highlights the details of the wheel, the table and of course the excitement of seeing the marble drop, just before you see how much you won. SoftSwiss has captured all those elements with its European Roulette game. This game has every element that roulette fans are looking for and it is provably fair, making it even more attractive than almost any other roulette wheel out there. Here are a few tips from BetChain’s staff on how to approach SoftSwiss’ European Roulette and have the best chances of winning.

The Basic Tenets of European Roulette

As you start exploring SoftSwiss’ European Roulette, you will notice that this wheel is not too different from the French one. In fact, most of the strategies that are used on the French wheel should also work on the European wheel. Both the French and the European wheels have just one zero as opposed to the double zero that the American wheel has, which means French roulette strategy will work on European roulette.

European Roulette Strategy

Apart from the “La Partage” rule that reduces pay-outs for the number 0 on French roulette, European roulette players can recur to the same strategies that the French roulette player uses. This includes the popular Martingale strategy of doubling down on any previous loosing bet, keeping in mind odds will catch up with the game. Here are some other, more sophisticated roulette strategies that work with the European wheel:

  • Jeu Zero – The neighbors of 0. Players place a distributed bet with 4 chips on zero, on the 4 numbers to the left of zero on the wheel and on the 2 numbers right to the number zero on the wheel. That means placing a chip between 32 and 35 on the table, a chip on 26, a chip between 12 and 15 and a chip between 0 and 3.
  • Voisins Du Zero – Neighbors of zero. The strategy entails placing chips on numbers neighboring 0 as follows: between the 0, 3 and 2 on the table, 4 and 7, 12 and 15, 18 and 21, 19 and 22, 25 26 28 and 29, 32 and 35.
  • Tiers Du Cylindre – This strategy is about playing the opposite to neighbors of zero. This means placing chips as follows: between 5 and 8, 11 and 10, 13 and 16, 23 and 24, 27 and 30, and 33 and 36.
  • Les Orphelins – The orphans. After playing with the strategy above or with neighbors of zero, you will notice that there are some numbers not covered by either, hence the orphans. Therefore, players playing with this strategy will place chips as follows: a chip on number 1, another one between 6 and 9, one between 14 and 17, another between 17 and 20, and the last one between 31 and 34.
